After breakfast, we will visit the capital of Jordan, Amman. Once named Philadelphia, it originally spreaded over 7 hills likes Rome. Antiquity and modernism meet here, where you will visit ruins of Assyrians, Babylonians, Ammonites and Romans. Further, we will leave Amman to visit the Desert Castles. They were built by the Umayyads to serve as caravan stations and hunting lodges for travelers, the walls and the floors are adorned with frescos and fragments of mosaic. One of the Castles, Qasr Al Azraq was the residence of T.A. Lawrence of Arabia during the Arab Revolution. Return to Amman for dinner and overnight.
