Program Details

Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, transfer to Amman for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we will be heading to Jerash, the Greco- Roman City, known as the City of the 1000 columns. Jerash is known as the best preserved Decapolis City in the modern world. Then we will head to Mount Nebo, which is believed to be the place where Moses was buried, and is considered to be one of the most important holy sites in Jordan. Ruins of the 4th and 6th Century with marvelous mosaics adorning the grounds of the church are still visible. Then we will head to Madaba, where we will visit the Greek Orthodox Church St. George, where you will see the masterpiece of Madaba (a Byzantine mosaic map that goes back to the 6th century, showing Jerusalem and other holy sites). We will end the tour by returning to Amman for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we will start our journey to the city of Kerak, where we will visit the Crusader's Castle, and get to know the architectural military brilliance of the Crusaders. Then we will head to Petra, the Red Rose City. The ancient city was founded by the Arab Nabatean Civilization 2000 years ago. Its massive architectural structure and its multicolored stones are an unforgettable attraction. Towards the end of the Siq, you will be spellbound by Petra's most famous monument, the Treasury. You can choose different walks and climbs to discover the mystery of Petra. Afterwards, we will be on the move towards Aqaba, the Ezion Geber of the Biblical times, where the most dramatic victory of the Arab Revolution against the Ottomans took place under the leadership T. A. Lawrence. Besides history, Aqaba, the Red Sea Resort with its warm weather and sunny beaches has many other experiences to offer, such as a variety of water sports, including snorkeling in the world known coral reef, fishing, wind surfing, and scuba diving.
